M. Group is proud to announce the launch of its fourth Mandala Places – Mandala. The Bay, a five-bedroom villa on the island of Nusa Lembongan in Bali.
Mandala Places is a portfolio of design-led residences in spectacular Balinese locations. Conceptualized around clean, flowing lines, their open airy spaces mix raw elements with warm and elegant finishes to create private refuges.
Its newest residence – on the island of Nusa Lembongan - is only a 30 minute boat ride from busy Bali but feels a world away. Surrounded by crystal clear waters that are perfect for diving, surfing and snorkeling, the island can be hiked in two hours and is dotted with pristine white sandy beaches, many of which are untouched.
Mandala. The Bay’s design blends traditional Balinese architecture with modernist interiors, finishes and artworks, boasting five individually-designed king bedrooms spread over 1200 square metres. Indoors and outdoors are seamlessly connected to create large, light-filled and airy escapes for the cliff-side villa. Stand out elements include a master bedroom housed in a Joglo structure carved from teak; the perfect entertaining space which includes a bar designed to professional standards; an ocean-view swimming pool; lush outdoor bathrooms and a relaxing library refuge.
The residence also comes complete with gardens that are coloured with fragrant frangipani trees and bright pink bougainvillea, making the perfect setting for long, lazy lunches under the pergola in the outdoor dining area. In addition, towards the cliff's edge sits a remarkable and unique ‘secret’ firepit that is surrounded by banquette seats carved from rock in the cliffside. A feature unlike any other, it offers sunset views and directly faces the wild and dramatic beauty of crashing waves at iconic Devil’s Tear across the bay.
