In an article published in January 2021, PRWeek - a leading PR trade publication with global reach - states: "in a year of hope and recovery, these (fairly new) agencies are working against the odds to grow and adapt in the region."
Listed with 5 other agencies ranging from healthcare PR to internal communications, PRWeek then lists Companion Communications as the lifestyle PR agency to watch out for this year, adding: "lifestyle PR veteran Dominique Backhouse has extensive experience working with travel and hospitality brands, most recently regional comms and PR at COMO Hotels. In 2019, she set up Companion Communications to specialise in "regionally relevant" PR. The hook of Companion is that it employs no junior staff and instead enlists members with a number of years of experience across comms modalities such as regional positioning, content creation, and social media."
